Commercial truck mechanic for a multi award winning, world class transportation company widely recognized as one of the top employers in the industry.

The successful candidate will be a licensed commercial transport mechanic with a CVI license and will have a meaningful opportunity to grow into an ‘off the tools’ leadership position. You will work in conjunction with other mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the vehicles in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections.  Although this opportunity requires a journeyman or red seal ticket, the major overhaul work is sent out to dealerships.  A large part of this opportunity is signing off on work and helping out apprentices, you must be happy doing minor and intermediate level mechanics despite having license. 

Required Qualifications :

• Red Seal or journeyman commercial transport mechanic
• CVI license
• must be available to work any shift, any day
• Freightliner or Volvo brand vehicle experience is an asset
• Fleet maintenance background preferred but not mandatory
• Trailer maintenance and repair experience is valued
