An Edmonton client is searching for a Skilled Laborer to join their team.

Skilled Laborer Highlights:

·         Safely operate tools and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, assisting others as needed.

·         Perform various tasks related to maintenance, material handling, clean-up, basic tool and machinery operations, and other elemental activities at fabrication shops.

·         Transport materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment.

·         Assist tradespersons and other fabrication shop personnel.

·         Work under supervision or independently with minimal guidance.

·         Conduct warehousing, tool crib, or janitorial duties as required.

·         Sort, crate, and package materials and products for storage or shipping.

·         Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers as necessary.

·         Perform other labour and basic activities as assigned.

·         Requirements:

·         Ability to lift to 60lbs, work at heights, and maneuver on/off equipment and ladders with agility.

·         Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to rules and regulations.

·         Ability to work well with others and adapt to changing tasks quickly and efficiently.

·         Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         0-2 years of experience in labourer roles related to manufacturing facilities.

·         Experience with equipment maintenance or basic hand and power tools is advantageous.

·         Valid driver's license required.

·         Valid Fall Arrest certification preferred; training can be provided.

·         Valid First Aid certification preferred; training can be provided.

Skilled Laborer Hours

·         06:00 am – 04:30 pm – Monday to Friday

·         $25/hour
