Job Summary:
Our company is seeking Pipefitter Journeymen, Pipefitter Apprentices, Welders, and Experienced Labourers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems, operate a two-ton picker truck, and hydrotest spools in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and pipes using hand and power tools
- Install and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to industry standards and codes
- Work on a variety of pipe systems, including high-pressure and high-temperature pipelines
- Conduct maintenance and repair work on existing piping systems, valves, and other components
- Prepare work areas and ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available
- Maintain and operate picker truck
- Know how to rig piping and structural steel
- Ability to perform material takeoffs for piping systems based on project specifications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and possess any necessary work permits or visas
- Hold valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid and CSO
- Fall Protection & Confined Space certifications are an asset
- Good knowledge of hand tools and threading equipment specific to the oil and gas industry
- Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract
- Willingness to work out of town for extended periods of time as required by project needs
- Willingness to work weekends as required by project needs
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test in compliance with industry regulations
- Proof of Trade Certification is required and will have to be included with your application

Salary: $24.00-$48.00 per hour
