In this role, you will earn over $1000 PER DAY!! If you want to work lots and make great money this is the job for you. Some of our mechanics are grossing over $300k per year.

We are looking for self-starters that are career-minded that are ready and willing to get the job done in a safe, positive manner and, must be able to work in a professional manner with co-workers and customers. This job is located in many different locations across BC and we are primarily servicing open pit and underground mining operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair, various types, and brands of heavy equipment
  • Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to determine repairs and create detailed service reports
  • Interpret and complete both scheduled and unscheduled work orders
  • Contribute to the ongoing reliability of all heavy equipment and complete preventative maintenance requirements
  • Test repaired equipment to verify proper maintenance
  • Make recommendations regarding repairs and methods for improvement

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience working in the field preferably working out of a service truck working with off-road construction and mining equipment
  • Experience with mining equipment will be considered an asset
  • Machine brands preferably worked on are Hitachi, CAT, John Deere, Komatsu
  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Off-Road Technician
  • Red Seal needed if coming from out of province
  • Solid experience diagnosing and troubleshooting
  • Solid electrical and hydraulic experience
  • You will be asked to provide a clean drivers abstract
  • Physically fit – heavy lifting required
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada
  • Must be able to pass a 6-panel drug test (including marijuana)
