HD Mechanic ($35 to 40 Per Hour): Full Time, Direct Hire (Ottawa, ON)

Heavy Duty Shop Technician in Ottawa, ON.

Pay: $35 TO 40 Per Hour 

Job Details:

The shop heavy duty technician will be in the shop and work on excavators, haul trucks, articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders, bull dozers, graders, and other commonly used heavy duty construction equipment.  They perform repairs and maintenance work to machinery including engine repair and diagnostics, hydraulic system repairs and diagnostics, engine repair and diagnostics, transmission and drive train repairs, emission diagnostic and repairs, as well as electrical diagnostic and repairs.  

Required Qualifications :

• 421A or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred.  Will accept 310T licensed if experienced repairing, diagnosing, maintaining heavy duty construction equipment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience repairing and maintaining heavy earthmoving or construction equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability.
• Clean G Driver's license.
