Zazula is looking for Journeyman Millwrights / Red Seal Millwrights / Heavy Duty Mechanics for their Calgary location.

Job Description

The job consists of day to day inspection, diagnosis, and repair of rotating process equipment in a machine shop setting with customer site visits, field service, within Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the NWT. Customer service contact and communication with the ability to work together with sales people and parts people on a daily basis.

Job Duties

• Ability to understand and to perform root cause analysis, trouble shooting, and problem-solving assessments of pumps and mixers, and the process equipment we supply
• Required to work on and repair, metering pumps, reciprocal, diaphragm, and plunger type
• Top and side entry mixer units, mechanical seals, gear boxes, hollow quill and worm gear assembly
• Vacuum pumps, rotary vane, dry and oil sealed, claw, and screw, and regen blowers

Job Requirements

• 5 + years of industry experience
• Forklift operating ticket
• Must have own hand tools
• Motivated, well organized, punctual, respectful, honest and a fast learner
• Machining skills, ability to run milling machines, lathes, etc.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English
• Computer skills and experience using software such as Microsoft office, word, outlook and excel
• Experience with metering pumps, mechanical mixers, and vacuum pumps will be considered an asset
• H2S Alive, First Aid Training and Common Safety Orientation will be considered an asset

The successful applicant will have the ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
