Yard Labourer (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 

• 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required,
•  Schedule as per Operational Requirements, 
• OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Responsibilities:

• General labour duties in the equipment yard.
• Assist with labour duties in the shop, as required
• Assist professional trades as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks manually and at times may be asked to use equipment.

• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

• Personal Reliable Vehicle

Tools & Equipment

• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Certificates & Licences

• Clean drivers abstract, Class 5 driver’s license (non GDL)

Experience

• Forklift Experience

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment
• Mask Fit Testing
