Stainless Steel- Rig Welders
To work at our CNRL OUTAGE in the Fort MacMurray, AB area
SALARY: Up to $117.00 per hour
OVERTIME: N/A
INCENTIVE: $60.00 per day Camp Incentive Provided
TRAVEL: Travel allowance provided for eligible out of province candidates
START DATE: May 15th, 2023
SCHEDULE: 24 days
HOURS PER DAY: 12 hours per day
PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)SHIFT: Nightshift (PREMIUM $3/HR)
ACCOMODATIONS: Camp
DURATION: 24 days
WORK SCOPE: Shutdown
Working Conditions:
Full-time, Temporary
Employee benefits provided by OpenCircleWork will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Red Seal Journeyperson ticket and Alberta B Pressure ticket
- Stainless Steel weld experience is a must
- Must have large bore experience
- Must possess a current F6-F5 Ticket
- Must provide valid AB 76 Form for each ticket current within last 6 months or provide proof of continuous welding experience
- CSTS2020 Certification
- WHMIS2015
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- ESC Elevated Work Platform is considered an asset
- ESC Fall Protection is considered an asset
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Develop and or interpret patterns and blue prints.
- Perform different welding processes and fillers depending upon the type of metal, its size and shape, and requirements for finished product strength.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using different processes
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Operate brazing and soldering equipment
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding extra layers.
- Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Complete all required safety documentation
- Working outdoors
