Truck Mechanic Technician Lead
Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Shifts:
- Ability to work any shift and weekends, depending on the demands of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic inspections on truck-tractor systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections of components.
- Execute repairs on truck-tractor components.
- Record work details on shop repair orders accurately.
- Complete paperwork reflecting hours, parts, and lube usage.
- Communicate deviations to Company policy to supervisors.
- Support Shift Supervisor in training and instructing mechanics.
- Implement Lean Principles for improved efficiency.
- Ensure a safe work environment and adherence to safety procedures.
- Run shift work in line with shop objectives.
Education:
- High school diploma required; Technical Degree preferred.
Certificates & Licenses
- Must have 310T certification
Experience
- Minimum of five years of truck-trailer repair experience, preferably in a lead role.
Knowledge & Skills
- Extensive knowledge of diesel mechanics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, make decisions, and demonstrate adaptability.
- Customer service experience with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility with work hours and the ability to work any shift, including weekends.
- Safety-conscious individual with a track record of completing job functions without repeat repairs.
Pre-employment
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
