Trailer Mechanic Opportunity in Mississauga, ON: Earn $32.00–$35.00 per hour

310J Trailer Mechanic 

Location: Mississauga, ON 

Pay: Starting at $32 to $35 per hour plus shift premiums 

Schedule:

•  Evening Shift 
• Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 1:30 am) 
• or Weekend Shift (Friday to Sunday, 7 am - 7:30 pm)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, and product pump rebuild
• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE 

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid Class G Driver's License
  
• Member of Ontario Trades

Experience

• Two years of verifiable mechanic experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Operation of hand and air tools; tank inspection experience is an asset Your Profile: Grade 12 or equivalent, positive work ethic and attitude 

Physical Requirements

• May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less
• Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15ft.

• May work above shoulder level with power and/or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less
  
• Must meet physical requirements of the position and have appropriate mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity
