Live-In Used Parts Technician

Locations: CA-AB-Edmonton

Type: Regular Full-Time

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Pay: Competitive

Schedule:

• 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required
• Schedule as per Operational Requirements
• OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Essential Requirements:

• Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• CSA approved steel-toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

• Be a presence for the 80 acres of land which includes perimeter walks as required
• Food is not provided and is the responsibility of the successful candidate

Responsibilities:

• Dismantle parts from various heavy equipment.
• Ensure parts are inventoried.
• Promote and maintain positive relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Qualifications:

• Parts or Mechanic Experience required.
• Must have experience working on heavy equipment.
• Computer knowledge is preferred.
• Warehouse experience is considered an asset.
