Safety Manager 

Location: Austin, TX.

Start: IMMEDIATE 

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Hours: 7am to 4:00pm

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Start Date: 10/09/2023

Duration: 3+ Months

Project: 350 unit multi-family project

Job Responsibilities  

• Providing training to workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment, as well as hazard identification.
• Conducting regular toolbox talks to review project objectives, assess safety measures, and emphasize essential safety guidelines.
• Conducting frequent site inspections to identify and address safety hazards, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety procedures.
• Thoroughly documenting inspection findings, construction progress, and safety-related information.
• Maintaining open communication with project management to report findings, discuss safety issues, and collaborate on solutions.
• Ensuring OSHA 30 compliance and keeping up-to-date with safety regulations.
• Understanding wood framing within the multi-family environment and recognizing specific hazards and areas of concern.

Certificates & Licenses

• Must have OSHA 30 certification.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Safety Manager, with a focus on multi-family construction projects.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of wood framing safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to lead and facilitate safety training sessions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb, twist ,stand, kneel, bend for long periods.

Pre-employment
