Safety Needed in CA Paying $35/hr and $120 Per Diem (6-10 week Project)

Trillium construction is now hiring for a Safety Professional in Stratford, CA.

Our client is the nation’s leading utility scale solar company specializing in high and medium voltage and have large solar field projects throughout the county! They are now looking to bring on a professional Safety Personnel through contract for a project in Stratford. This will be a temporary position lasting about 6-10 weeks. Schedule is M-TH, 10 hour days. Pay is up to $35 an hour depending on experience and per diem is up to $120 a day for those who qualify.

Duties:•Work alongside safety team creating site specific safety plan as weather/tasks change.•Deliver training on safety initiatives, work procedures, etc.•Participate in safety related discussions•Onboard employees (will be tasked of about 400 employees) with an understanding of company safety policies.•Compete safety audits and cover safety courses.•Be competent at documentation with high level of detail.

•Must have OSHA30•Must have previous experience in Utility scale PV systems or similar.•Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes as they apply to all aspects of solar construction.•Ability to evaluate environmental health and safety related risks.•Knowledge of power generation mechanical and electrical systems.
