Job Details

• Fabricate, assemble, operate, troubleshoot, install, commission, maintain, test, and repair equipment, machinery, controls, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Interpret and implement plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions, take corrective action, and participate in the design and field modification of apparatus and equipment.
• Inspect, service, and operate specialized equipment and tools.Requisition and maintain an adequate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, test, and repair industrial, electrical, and control systems, along with other related devices.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs, keep maintenance records, and arrange for appropriate permits.
• Read, compile, and maintain records and drawings, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
• Participate in continuous educational and professional development, supervise apprentices and staff, and maintain a clean work area.

Certificates & Licenses

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
• SaskPower Hydro Station Operator Certificate or equivalent, or the ability to attain within 24 months.

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.

• Ability to cooperate, deal tactfully with others, and communicate effectively.
