COMPENSATION

$704-784 per day ($44-49 per hour)

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday, 40 hours with occasional weekends on-call

CONTRACT TERM

1-year contract

POSITION OVERVIEW – HSE Advisor/Specialist II

The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor provides overall safety leadership by company and OSHA standards. The HSE Specialist is involved in inspecting workplaces to make sure employers are compliant with health and safety regulations and when best practices or gaps are found is responsible for providing feedback to managers and employees to continually improve the workers' culture and safety and wellbeing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Spill support including but not limited to:
20% field work
Regulatory notification(s),
Form 19 I/S preparation and submittal
Clean-up support
Contractor interaction
Laboratory data review and QA/QC
Tracking and reporting
Prepare and submit Form 27 I/S
Special project support
Project updates/communication to internal stakeholders
Spill compliance
On-Call support
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders related to projects
Remediation team support
Excellence
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to work independently.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years direct field experience in oil and gas
Demonstrated understanding of ECMC and CDPHE Regulations
Demonstrated understanding of Occupational Health & Safety legislation / regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION

Minimum Bachelors with focus in Earth Science, Geology, Engineering, Environmental Studies
OSHA 40 hr HAZWOPER

PREFERRED

Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred
