SAFETY ADVISOR III

The main function of a Safety Engineer is to lead the understanding of the technical, engineering, and managerial issues fundamental to safety and risk management. The Safety Advisor will play a significant role supporting high risk activity for Mustang projects.

• Providing technical safety support and advice to clients 
• Preparing and managing qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA, fault tree and event tree analysis
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, methods, data and use of appropriate software Producing formal technical reports and other project deliverables on time and to budget 
• Managing and developing clients
• Developing new business

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of degree in science, engineering or related discipline
• Technical safety and / or risk assessment experience
• Sound technical base and experience supporting high risk activity projects.
• Genuine team player, Self-motivated, Good interpersonal skills 
• Project management skills Strong communication skills 
• Excellent written skills Interested in helping to expand the business 
• Practical, common sense approach

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (“NICE TO HAVES”)

• Bi-lingual (Spanish)  preferred but not required
