Field Service Heavy Agricultural Equipment Mechanic 

Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Type: Direct Hours: Full Time

Job Description:

  • Opportunity for an Agricultural Equipment Technician to work in the Ottawa Valley territory
  • Ideal for someone with experience on heavy AG machines (John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, AGCO, CASE IH, New Holland, or other specialized brands)
  • Will consider candidates with customer-oriented experience on other types of heavy machinery
  • Based from home and running a service truck
  • Strong hourly wage, company-provided service vehicle, mobile phone, computer, extended benefits, and pension

Experience

  • 3-5 years of heavy-duty mechanic experience

Knowledge & Skills

  • Farm equipment repair, maintenance, troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Experience working for a heavy farm and agricultural equipment dealership preferred

Certificates & Licenses

  • Clean driver's license and preference for someone with road service experience

Travel/Transportation

  • Residing in Ottawa Valley and preferably within 1 hour of parts centre in Winchester
