What WORKFORCE is Hiring for:

Heavy Duty Mechanic

Location: Calgary, AB
Job Type: Direct, Full Time

Compensation: $42-$45 per hour based on ticket and experience)

Travel: No

Relocation: No

Hours: 

  • Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon shift most required
  • One Saturday rotation per month 
  • Overtime paid after 8.5 hours/day

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair fleet vehicles
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Complete work orders
  • Document safety checks in the database
  • Other facility work as required

Experience

  • Minimum registered apprentice in Commercial Transport Mechanics/On-Road Tech or HD Mechanics 
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HD Mechanic 
  • Experience in the truck and hauling industry

Certificates & Licenses

  • CVIP license preferred
  • Full Class 5 Driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Must pass all pre-employment tests for successful hire
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
