Mechanical Assembler 

Location: Cambridge, ON

Salary: $27.74/Hourly
Job Type: Direct Hire
Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Take all work order packages from start to finish.
  • Install hi-rail gear or body mounting of all types.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems quickly and effectively.
  • Capable of connecting aftermarket electrical accessories to various chassis.

Pre-employment

  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Experience

  • Experience with vehicle-mounted equipment, especially hydraulic/electric cranes, air compressors, and service bodies.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of mobile hydraulic and electrical practices.
  • Familiarity with various fasteners used for equipment installation onto automotive vehicles.
  • Proven safety record and ability to work safely.
  • Dedicated, dependable, and possesses effective communication skills.

Tools & Equipment

  • Owns a personal toolbox with mechanic’s air and hand tools for electrical, pneumatic, and general assembly.
