Mechanic Wanted: Exciting Opportunity for 310T/J Mechanic in Sarnia - $36.00-$37.00 per hour + Experience-based Premium

310T/J Mechanic

Location: Sarnia, ON

Pay:

• Base rate: $36-$37 per hour (experience-based premium up to $5-$7 per hour)
• Relocation assistance available

Hours/Shift:

• Monday to Friday, either 6 am to 2:30 pm or 2 pm to 10:30 pm
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Overtime available

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
• Check tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension, and product pump rebuilds
• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE
• Adhere to procedures

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid Class G Driver's License
• Member of Ontario Trades

Experience

• Two years of verifiable mechanic experience

Tools & Equipment

• Operation of hand and air tools

Education Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Positive work ethic and attitude

Other Job Details:

• May work above shoulder level with power and/or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less and in confined spaces
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position, including mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed
• May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less
• Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15ft.
