What Trimac is Hiring for:

Journeyman / Level 4 Apprentice Mechanic

Location: Regina, SK

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (40 hours per week)

Pay: Journeyman rate $38.56/hour + Shift Premiums

Shift Premiums: $1.25 afternoon, $2.00 night shift premium after 6:00 pm
B620 certification $1.00
SGI license $1.00

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
Check tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension, and product pump rebuilds
Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE
Adhere to procedures

Experience:

Valid Class 5 Driver License
Red Seal (asset)
CVIP Certification (asset)
Two years of verifiable mechanic experience
Operation of hand and air tools

Education:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills:

Positive work ethic and attitude

Work Conditions:

May work above shoulder level with power and/or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less
May work in confined spaces
Must meet physical requirements, including mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and appropriate dexterity levels
May stand, walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less
Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15ft
