Safety Supervisor 

Location: Austin, TX.

Pay: $65,000-85,000 per year, negotiable based on experience

Duration: Long-Term assignmentLONG TERM ASSIGNMENT

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure  compliance with safety regulations
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work  environment
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency  response, and proper use of personal protective equipment
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop  corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities
• Prepare reports on safety performance and present findings to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives

Certificates & Licences

• College degree (Associates, Bachelor, Masters) in Occupational Safety and Health or other related fields of study in Occupational Health, Environmental or Safety Sciences

• Proven experience in the safety, health, environmental or emergency response area.

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presenting  findings
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
