What Trimac is Hiring for:

Journeyman Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Salary: Starting at $39.71 per hour

Shift: 

  • Monday to Thursday
  • 9:00 pm to 7:30 am 
  • 40 hours per week

Shift Premiums:

  • $ 2.00-night shift premium after 6:00 pm
  • B620 certification $1.00SGI License $1.00

Benefits:

  • $600 annual tool allowance after 1 year of service
  • $300 annual boot allowance after 1 year of service

Responsibilities:

  • Perform trailer and tractor repairs, including PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension, and product pump rebuild
  • Maintain equipment professionally and follow policies & procedures
  • Work safely using directed PPE and complete tasks within specified timelines
  • Drive and shunt equipment as needed

Knowledge & skills

  • Operation of hand tools and air tools
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

Certificates & Licenses

  • Truck and Trailer Journeyman Red Seal required
  • Valid Class 5 Driver License

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position

Education

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
