What WORKFORCE is Hiring for:

Mechanical Service Technician

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Type: DirectHours: Full Time

Travel: NoRelocation: No

Pay: $38-42/hour

Client: Leading multinational supplier of equipment to the food processing industry, 

Benefits

  • Company vehicle 
  • Highly competitive compensation package.

Travel/Transportation

  • Approximately 80% travel
  • Mainly within Edmonton, Alberta, and surrounding areas
  • Occasional trips across Canada. 

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility is required for after-hours and weekend work
  • Compensated with overtime pay.

Training 

  • Provided locally and periodically overseas at corporate headquarters in Europe and the US.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a customer-facing service technician, preferably in food processing/production or a related industry.

Responsibilities 
  • Machine installations
  • Customer training
  • Routine and emergency service, and 
  • Repairs.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong customer service mentality with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet changing deadlines.

Pre-employment

  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel, including occasional overseas trips.
  • Full Covid-19 vaccination is required due to operational requirements.
