Shop Labourer (Heavy Equipment Shop)

Type: Full Time, Seasonal

Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Areas (non-camp position, must reside in the area)

Pay: Competitive

Schedule: 

• 10+ hours/day
• Saturdays and Sundays as required
• Schedule as per operational requirements
• Overtime after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Requirements:

1. Personal Reliable Vehicle
2. CSA approved steel-toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment

1. Pre-employment:Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
2. Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Essential Skills:

• Hard-working, reliable, flexible with the schedule
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Responsibilities:

1. Clean and prepare the shop, removing and disposing of debris and waste materials.
2. Assist with inventory control in the shop.
3. Assist professional trades as required.
4. Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials properly and storing them.
5. Load and unload supplies manually or using equipment.
6. Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program.
7. Encourage a safety culture among all employees, subcontractors, and consultants.
