What Jardeg is Hiring for:
Heavy Duty Mechanic
Location: Regina, SK
Project Type: Cargill Canola Processing Plant
Shift: Day
Schedule: 10 and 4 - 10 Hours Per Day
Accommodations: Local Only
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and various specialty tools.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on company equipment.
- Service and rebuild construction equipment.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES
- Hold a Journeyperson certification or valid apprenticeship in Heavy Equipment Technician trade.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
EXPERIENCE
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with off-road construction equipment, field trucks, and support equipment.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Demonstrate extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with completing purchase orders, requisitions, and time sheets using a computer.
- Excellent written communication skills to complete daily service reports.
