What ResourceMFG is Hiring for:

Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator

Location: Findlay, OH

Job Type: Direct hire role.

Earnings $57,250.00 - $98,450.00 per year

Position: Full time

Hours

  • Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM 
  • Available for safety situations if needed off hours

Duties  

  • Submit HSE related incident information to Company Global EHS as defined.
  • Identify, and remain up to date, on all HSE compliance (local, state/provincial and national) regulations and requirements that apply to the operation. Includes the development and maintenance of compliance related plans, policies, procedures and documents.
  • Develop and administer applicable plant wide emergency and contingency response procedures.
  • Establish and oversee safety programs/processes and HSE related committees/teams (ergonomics, accident investigation, health and safety, etc.).
  • Prepare and submit government reports as required by applicable regulations (local, state/provincial and national).

Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental and /or Safety Engineering and Management or closely related field is required.

Experience

  • Four + years-experience in manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety/environmental management. Must have ability to work with minimal supervision and must be capable of leading HSE Function activities as directed.
  • Experience in implementing and managing HSE Management System requirements and ISO 14001 EMS certification requirements. applicable to the facility.

Competencies

  • Working knowledge in relation to developing processes and practices related to the following key areas: HSE System implementation; Behavior Based Safety; Environmental Compliance (air, water, waste); Ergonomics; Risk Assessment and Reduction; and Industrial Hygiene.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Industrial Hygiene practices, procedures and data/analysis interpretation.
