What PTW Energy is Hiring for:

HVAC Technician

Location: Wood Buffalo region, AB

Wage Range: $56.50-$59 per hour

Hours: 8/6 shift

    Benefits

    • SAGD Facility Maintenance

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assembling, installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment.
    • Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics for HVAC equipment installations.
    • Providing technical HVAC assistance to coworkers.
    • Developing and conducting preventative maintenance programs and maintaining accurate records.
    • Soldering, brazing, welding, and pipe joining techniques related to refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
    • Making electrical repairs and upgrades to existing equipment.
    • Installing and calibrating controls, startup systems, and testing lines for leaks.
    • Submitting recommendations and quotes to estimating teams.
    • Proactively seeking new HVAC/Process opportunities.
    • Complying with PTW Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

    Experience

    • HVAC/Process Experience required.
    • Journeyperson Refrigeration or Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker with HVAC service work experience required.
    • Experience in construction or industrial environments.
    • Experience in developing and managing preventative maintenance work.

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Working knowledge of HVAC/Process products for industrial plants.
    • Superior organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Success in working in high-pressure environments with minimal direction.
