Heavy Equipment Technician Needed in Fort McMurray up to $89/hr (48-84 hours/week)

VicMechanical are hiring :

Technician responsibilities:

- Troubleshooting

- Diagnostics

- Field Service Repair

-Component parts replacement

-Mechanical Inspections

-Air conditioning repairs & Heating repairs

Required Qualification

Journeyman Red seal HET certification or an Alberta provincial HET certification

A valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract

The ability to work alone in a field setting or as a part of a team

The ability to work through troubleshooting charts and read schematics

Safety training certificates required:

-Ossa/BSO Orientation

-First aid

-Fall protection

-Aerial lift

-WHMIS and TDG

-Drug and alcohol testing

Training will be supplied, and while all prior training will be acknowledged, it will be deemed valid as long as the relevant certifications are presented.

Experience

2 years. (mining equipment)

License/Certification:

-Class 5 Licence (required)

Journeyman (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Ft. McMurray, AB (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $77.00-$89.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 – 84 per week
