Heavy Equipment Mechanics Wanted in Western & Northern Canada: $268,000/year (FIFO, 14 & 14, 4% RSP & More!)

DT Equipment Repair is looking for qualified Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians to run DT Equipment Service Trucks in Fly In/Fly Out positions in Western & Northern Canada.

• Full-time permanent HD Field Mechanic to run a Service Truck
• Minimum of 5 yrs experience
• Must be physically fit and highly motivated with a solid work ethic
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening mandatory
• Pre-employment background check

Overall Responsibilities:

• Safe and ethical operation of DT Equipment Repair Inc. Service Truck
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair equipment deficiencies
• Communicate with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities
• Maintain maintenance records
• Promote safety awareness by ensuring compliance of corporate health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Heavy Equipment Technician (Off Road) – Journeyman (Red Seal) Certified
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with CAT, John Deere and Hitachi equipment
• Minimum 5 years in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Mining
• Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and demanding situations
• Energy Safety Canada CSO training
• Willingness to work in Fort McMurray or NWT and working a rotational schedule
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid Class 5 operators license (candidate to provide current abstract)
• Standard First Aid certification is required
• Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection and Ariel Work Platform certifications are required

Compensation Package:

• Earn Between $160,000 and $268,000 ANUALLY!!!
• 14/14 work schedule - $160,000 - $205,000
• 18/10 work schedule - $197,000 - $260,000
• 14/7 work schedule - $204,000 - $268,000
