Journeyman & Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanics wanted in Whitecourt, AB: $45.00 Per Hour

We're seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/ Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic in our Whitecourt Base, with tank and vac experience. This position will require an on-call field rotation. We offer competitive wages, a team atmosphere, tool allowance, and a full benefit package. Wages for Apprentice will be based on experience.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification
• Valid CVIP License required
• Experience and knowledge in diagnosing and repairing heavy truck tractors, tank truck trailers and various other equipment.
• Commitment to Safety

Ability to work flexible hours with minimal supervision and on call rotation

Responsibilities:

· The mechanic will diagnose and repair heavy truck tractors, tank truck trailers and various other equipment, using the latest in tools and technology.

· Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
