What Avenge Energy Services Inc. is Hiring for:

Avenge is looking to hire heavy duty journeyman, service truck and apprentice Mechanics for our shops throughout Alberta, experience working on fluid hauling and vac trucks would be an asset. Preference to local area residents with ability to start immediately. We have over 400 pieces of equipment and opportunity for long-term employment making a very good six figure annual income! In addition to Grande Prairie, our Peace River shop is looking for a service truck mechanic.

The candidate may be required to work weekends, evenings, overtime and on call as needed. Starting wage is dependent on a combination of schooling and experience which can be discussed during interview.

Position Summary

This is a full-time - Starting wage dependent on experience. Mechanic will be expected to use own tools. Access to some tools in shop will be provided and can be discussed during interview. We use electronic work orders, and use of app based programs will be part of daily duties. Service truck experience and opportunity for advancement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the and Foreman and Branch Manager our HD mechanic/technicians are responsible for the safe and efficient repair of the equipment for various applications. Regular rotations, steady work, overtime on a regular and reoccurring basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies & processes and acting in a safe manner at all time;
  • Ensures that all equipment is properly secured prior to work/repairs, (i.e.: uses chock blocks and jack stands);
  • Corrects all equipment deficiencies and performs preventative maintenance tasks on company vehicles and equipment; Hydrovac and Combo unit repair experience is required.
  • Performs thorough inspections of equipment and identifies required repairs;
  • Performs routine and specific maintenance tasks;
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs equipment and light and heavy-duty vehicles;
  • Disassembles, inspects and replaces worn or broken parts;
  • Fits and adjusts new or repaired parts;
  • Perform supervised CVIP repairs as assigned;
  • Completes and submits all associated electronic documentation as required for tracking Preventative Maintenance schedules;
  • Submit and completes all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Ensures the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times.
  • Fabrication and/or welding considered an asset

What does it take to work for Avenge Energy?

  • Apprentice preference of 3rd year+ or Journeyman certification;
  • 4+years’ experience working as a Mechanic
  • CVIP experience and certification an asset
  • Class 1/3/5 drivers’ license with clean 5-year driver’s abstract.
