Field Heavy Duty Mechanics Needed in Edmonton, AB: Up To $50/hr with possible LOA and Company Truck

Job Description :

Seeking a Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician for an established company with multiple locations in Western Canada.  Their customers are throughout the US and Canada marketplace.  They have had success over several decades assembling and servicing specialized heavy equipment for the pulp and paper, oil and gas, rail, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. 

There is currently a need to hire a heavy-duty mechanic.  In this role you will work Mon-Fri and work in the field.   You will be based in the Edmonton area from home and go to service calls in a company provided service vehicle.   You will be afforded the opportunity for overtime.  Its important the hired candidate is good with customers and treats their day like its their own business in terms of organization skills.  Competitive pay, pension, profit share, excellent benefits, and fair vacation allotment are available for the successful candidate in this role.  If you want to get your hands dirty and join a growing winning company, apply today if you meet the listed requirements. 

$45 to 50 per hour depending on experience plus benefits, company provided service truck.  LOA if out overnights

Required Qualifications :

• 5 plus years of mechanic experience
• Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
• Demonstrated background working on drivelines and engines is highly beneficial
• Rebuild and overhaul experience an asset
• Experience with track mobile/rail industry equipment is an asset
• High mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge is valued
• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Clear verbal and written English skills
• Ability to interact professionally and in a positive level-headed manner with customers when required.
