Location: Abbotsford, BC
Salary: $37.00-$55.00 per hour (DOE)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Inspect and meticulously test mechanical units to pinpoint faults and malfunctions.
• Evaluate motor performance during road tests and assess automotive systems and components.
• Skillfully adjust, repair, or replace parts and components within automotive systems.
• Expertly replace mechanical units or components when necessary.
• Conduct thorough testing and precise adjustments to meet manufacturer's specifications.
• Accurately estimate both parts and labor costs for services.
• Carry out routine maintenance services on schedule.
• Methodically test and fine-tune units to meet exact specifications.
• Offer comprehensive guidance to customers regarding the work performed and potential future repair needs.
• Diligently document problems and work completed in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with supervisors to review work orders and discuss project progress.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process.

Qualifications 

• Possession of an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification (Red Seal)
• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred qualifications)
• A valid CVSE license
• Specialized license for working with alternative fuels
• Valid driver's license
