Security/Fire Alarm Technicians

Location: San Antonio, TX 78238

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: $25-$35 DOE 

Job Description:

Benefits

•  Accommodations and per diem are provided for out-of-town jobs. 

• Monday-Thursday 
• 7:00 am to 6:00 pm 

Positions Available:

1. Experienced Lead Technicians
2. Experienced Service Technicians

Qualifications:

• Texas Fire Alarm License – FAL or RAS (preferred)
• Texas PSB Alarm License (preferred)
• OSHA 30 Certified
  

• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of NFPA and local codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision
• Strong Work Ethic
• Professional Attitude
• Strong Customer Service skills

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in low voltage

• Experience with troubleshooting, installing, programming, modifying, and maintaining low-voltage systems, including Fire Alarm (preferred), BDA Systems (preferred), Security Alarms, Digital Video Systems, IP Cameras, and Access Control Systems
• Experience with IP Networking and Windows Server (preferred)

Pre-employment

• Completion of a background check, drug screen, and MVR

Tools & Equipment

• Must have basic hand tools
