Red Seal Transport Mechanic 

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Job Type: Direct

Schedule:

• 4 X 10-hour shifts 
• 2 am - 12:30 pm
• Tuesday to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, brake work, suspension and driveline repairs on a fleet of trucks and support equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as engine and emission systems.
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards and demonstrate a safety-minded approach.
• Desire to grow into a leadership role.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Transport Mechanic ticket
• Manitoba Safety Certification
• Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 or higher would be an asset)

Experience

• Experience working in the trucking and hauling industry
• Experience with Mack would be an asset
• Experience with hydraulics

Knowledge & Skills

• Desire to grow into a leadership role preferred
• Ability to work on-site for the outlined shifts

• Drug check
• Background screening

• Must pass all pre-employment tests for a successful hire
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
