What WORKFORCE is Hiring for:

Mechanical Field Service Technician

Location: Coquitlam, BC

Pay: $25-$30 per hour plus OT.

Job Type: Direct

Hours: Full-Time 

Work Conditions

-Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends as required (Overtime)

-A day in the life will consist of you responding to service requests, emergency call-outs or previously scheduled appointments in your service vehicle.

-On call for emergencies during the evening, weekend and holidays every 4 weeks.

Duties will include:

-Machine coordination and installations (in collaboration with a Service Manager)

-Repair and preventative maintenance on commercial laundry, dishwashers and various dispensing equipment

-Troubleshooting and providing customers with solutions on site

-Show and train customers how to use various equipment along with proper maintenance  procedures in a safe and efficient manner

-Make sure paperwork is completed and submitted at the end of each day

Schedule 

-Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm 

-On call rotation being every 4 weeks (you will be on call for a full week and that is usually until client businesses close around 11pm)

Knowledge & Skills

-Demonstrated hands on technical capabilities in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and various equipment repairs

-Knowledge and understanding of commercial kitchen equipment is an asset

-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

-Customer service oriented with good communication skills (both written and verbal)

-Good problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency

Certificates & Licenses

-Valid drivers license and clean driving record abstract will be required

Pre-employment

-Legally entitled to work in Canada
