What does TDX do?

Perform process chemistry to support the operation, modification, and improvement of our advanced thermal desorption units for the management of highly regulated materials. Assist in the development of new applications to valuable materials recovery. You will use your science knowledge every day to safely operate this important environmental technology.

Our Texas facilities perform reclamation and recycling of oil from hazardous recyclable materials generated in petroleum refining, energy, and petrochemical activities. Our process capabilities and permits are unique in all of the world. We are expanding these facilities to meet important emerging needs in American materials management.

You will assist in the operation and modifications to this best-in-class technology including evaluation of material properties, behavior in the recycling process, and developing important quality indicators to maximize performance of the facility. You will constantly evaluate new and existing materials for recovery in our advanced program. You will also support and lead application to new materials. All of our engineers and scientists actively support our technology by being a part of the operations crew, sometimes on shift. Good physical fitness is very helpful for the active work performed on our processing plants.

Job requires excellent hands-on skills, bench chemistry, and willingness to work with modern complex process equipment. You will work for the industry leader in this technology. We will teach you the practices to safely manage these materials. You need to bring your energy and intelligence to join our committed team on this exciting technology. This is a hands-on technical position that can require extensive compensated overtime work.
