What does Peace River Logging do?
Peace River Logging was established in May 2004 as a partnership between what was then known as the Daishowa-Marubeni International (DMI) Ltd. Kraft pulp mill in Peace River (now owned by Mercer International) and the Woodland Cree First Nation. As a logging company providing mill furnish to Northwest Alberta saw and pulp mills, we remain committed to utilizing ecologically based management harvesting techniques within NW Alberta’s sustainably managed forests.
