What Ledcor is Hiring for:

Millwright

Location: Fort McMurray, AB 

Job Status: Full-Time

Pay: Competitive

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend diagrams, schematic drawings, and manuals to determine work procedures
  • Work on pre-commissioning and commissioning scopes
  • Align and test equipment, making necessary adjustments
  • Resolve pipe straining issues
  • Understand hydraulic, pneumatic, and programmable logic controls
  • Perform tack welding, fabrication, and maintain an inventory of parts if required
  • Other related duties as assigned

Experience

  • Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
  • Commissioning experience preferred*
Certificates & Licenses
  • Red Seal Journeyperson ticket or be a registered 4th Year Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority

  • Fall Protection and Confined Space training is an asset (training provided)

Pre-employment
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • OSSA Regional with CSTS, BSO, or CSO required for successful candidates
Work Conditions:

  • 14 days on / 7 days off schedule
  • Working 10 hours per day
