Work in Greeley, CO: Shredder Operator $22.00-$30.00 DOE with Exciting Benefits

Hours: 

• Monday-Friday
• 7am-5pm plus OT

Description:

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the shredder at optimal production rates with minimal downtime
• Possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing operational efficiency

Duties:

• Maintenance repairs on all equipment, including the shredder, eddy current, hydraulics, etc.
• Changing liners, grates, hammers, etc. on the shredder
• Collaborate with maintenance teammates on preventive maintenance repairs, scheduled repair projects, and normal production
• General labor duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up
• Operate small equipment like forklifts, skid steers, or bobcats
• Supervise the placement of scrap into/from inventory piles, inventory control, and more
• Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed

Experience

• Track hoe experience required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable using computer touchscreens
• Attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Willingness to learn

Work Conditions

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable climbing stairs at heights
