What Colter Energy is Hiring for:

We are currently searching for full time Production Testers (Gas Well Testers) in our Grande Prairie and Red Deer locations. These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. We offer competitive industry wages, an excellent benefit program and RRSP matching program.

Minimum Qualifications/Skill/Experience

  • Field Assistants require no experience, but must be able to follow direction and be interested in learning.
  • Field Supervisors must have experience Well Testing.
  • Required certifications; Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
  • Supervisors will require a truck and full set of tools
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions

PAY BREAKDOWN

  • Field Assistant rates start at $260.00 per day
  • Night Supervisor rates start at $325.00 per day
  • Field Supervisor rates start at $450.00 per day
  • * rates are based on level of experience at each position

In addition to the above day rates, the following would be paid:

  • a non-taxable per diem for field days (between $ 35 and $ 70 per day)
  • All accommodations provided by Colter (either hotels or camps)
  • Supervisors receive a taxable truck allowance and mileage/towing when running their personal trucks for client projects
