Welder

Location: Chico, CA

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Work hours may vary)

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00/Hour DOE

Schedule: Regular business hours, flexibility required

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand soldering, and/or brazing equipment to weld
• Join metal components or fill holes, indentations, and/or seams of fabricated metal products
• Fabricate various company products under minimal supervision
• Work with Line-up Shafts to ensure parallel and correct spacing
• Perform Sub-Frame installs
• Independently perform and instruct all essential functions of an Assembly Welder
• Perform Quality Control of completed assignments
• Notify Division Manager of extra time necessary to bring assignments into compliance
• Read prints and demonstrate adequate understanding of math
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of rules, regulations, and safety procedures applicable to welding trade
  
• Ability to use, maintain, and teach safety procedures for tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints in English
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled shop

• completion of a welding program

Experience:

• Or 2 years of current welding experience

Tools & Equipment:

• Band Saw, Shear, Break, all Divisional Hand Tools, and Welders

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
