Welding Supervisor Needed in Brampton, ON: $45/hr - Benefits

Job Description :

We are looking for a hands-on, CWB certified Welding Supervisor to join our growing team in the Brampton, Ontario area.

This will be a full time on-site role in the busy shop working Monday to Friday day shift. Compensation ranges up to $45 per hour based on experience and will include a benefits package after the probationary period. 

An ideal candidate will bring experience working as a welder (GMAW,TIG Welding) with experience in carbon steel and stainless steel welding. You will ideally have had some lead hand or supervisory experience.  You will follow welding procedures, conduct weld inspections and know how to read and interpret production drawings accordingly.  You will be a leader who will guide and support your team members and promote a positive team culture. You will lead by doing and be organized and keep a clean and tidy work area as well as be very safety minded. 

Required Qualifications :

-Minimum 5 years experience in GMAW, TIG welding 

-Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel welding and fabrication

-Current CWB welding supervisor certificate 

-456A welding ticketed 

-Lead hand or supervisory experience 

-Must be able to read and interpret production drawings

-Experience working onsite in a machine shop environment

-Physically capable to be on your feet for long periods of time

-Punctuality and promptness 

-Good communication skills (written and verbal)

-Legally entitled to work in Canada
