Welders Needed near Hinton, AB Paying up to $52/hr + OT, Daily Bonuses, Benefits

Based in Hinton, Alberta, this is a true “Greenfield” coal mining operation looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Journeyman Welder. The candidate must be self-motivated, have good communication and good organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform Welding maintenance and repair work on various makes and models of large mining equipment, in the mining environment.
• Perform equipment maintenance according to standards, procedures, and practices.
• Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met.
• Maintain clean work area in shop or on job site.
• Assist other shop employees with repairs and duties.
• Ensure quality, efficient and safe completion of all repairs.

Education/ Skill Requirements:

· Red Seal Journeyman Welder

· minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience

· Valid Drivers License

Physical/Mental Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell.
