Welder

Location: Eureka, IL

Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Hours: 

Pay: $26-$29/hour

Schedule: 

• 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
• Monday through Friday
• 7am-3:30pm
• Duties & Responsibilities:
  

• Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, casted, and forged components.
• Select equipment and plan layouts, assemblies, and welding.
• Position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using various welding techniques.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, saws, punches, and other fabrication equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

• High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
• AWS Certification
• 5+ years of GMAW (MIG) experience
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Education: 

• HSD or GED

Experience: 

5+ years of GMAW (MIG) experience

Tools & Equipment: 

• Forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, saws, punches, and other fabrication equipment.

Certificates & Licenses: 

• AWS Certification

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
