Washrack Technician

Location: Shop in Calgary, AB

Position: Entry level

Pay: $25.12/ per hour ( $2.00 afternoon shift premium) 

Hours:

• Shifts/Schedule Monday to Friday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Exterior washing and assist with internal cleaning.
• Hose testing/cleaning.
• Pump flush.
• Drive equipment.
• Tank entry and confined space training.
• Operation of hand tools.
• Wash work orders.
• Tank steam for clean.
• Steam product for repair.
• Assist in wash order scheduling.
• Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
• Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations
• Comfortable working either indoor or outdoor (Appropriate gear is provided).

Skills:

• Positive and strong work ethic, attitude, and job performance.
• Must be ok working from heights over 20 ft.
• Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
• Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
• Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.

Certificates & Licences

• Valid Drivers License.

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
