Trucking Dispatcher

Job Tasks:

• Dispatch and monitor drivers according to schedules and work orders
• Manage on-site product inventory & yard maintenance
• Maintain work records and logs
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs with mechanic
• 24/7 on-call while on shift
• Manage Working Alone Policy with drivers
• Relief driving as needed

Required:

• Dispatch Experience
• Dangerous goods driving Experience
• Class 5 (minimum) driver’s license with clean abstract
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Good people skills; building/managing relationships with employees and customers
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Dedication to safe work practices
• H2S Alive, Standard First Aid

Strong Assets:

• Oil Patch Experience
• Off-Road Driving Experience
• Supervisor Experience
• Mechanically inclined, knowledge of commercial trucking equipment
• Familiar with radio equipment
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, email, GPS tracking, mapping)
