What PCL Construction is Hiring for:

Tower Crane Operator

Location: Kelowna, BC 

Wages: $36.54/hr-$45.67/hr

Start of Project: January 2024

Duration of Project: Approximately 1 year

Shift: 

  • Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm 
  • Overtime, weekends after hours may be required

Responsibilities:

  1. Certified - Full Scope Tower Crane Operator.
  2. Comply with company safety policies and procedures as well as Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
  3. Operators must be able to demonstrate their competency operating tower cranes.
  4. Safely operating tower cranes to lift, move, or place equipment and materials.
  5. Performing routine crane inspections and maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating as required, good working knowledge of proper crane functions.
  6. Calculating lifting capacities.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Having proficient knowledge of the construction, erection, and installation of wood and engineered formwork systems for decks, columns, walls, and structural steel.

Crane Make and Model: 

  • Liebherr 316 EC-H
