What Brock Group Inc is Hiring for:

Regional Superintendent 

Location: Grande Prairie, AB 

Job Type: Full Time 

Pay: Competitive

Experience

  • 10 years of craft supervision experience

Education:

  • Advanced craft or project certifications desirable (NACE, NCCER, PMP, PMI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of employment practices (hiring and termination; discipline, attendance, employment regulations, pay practices, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture
  • Coordinate all site construction activities and supervise field personnel
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, consistently, and effectively within budget
  • Develop and implement project Execution Plan, Quality Control Plan, and Site Safety Plan
  • Plan and implement projects, including timelines, scheduling, logistics, purchasing, and training plans
  • Manage changes to project scope through defined change management process
  • Resolve customer issues/discrepancies effectively
  • Ensure all authorizations and approvals are in place and job site is hazard-free before work commencement
  • Leverage opportunities to cross-sell Brock’s product and service offerings
  • Manage job cost, profitability, and KPI tracking for assigned projects
  • Identify and implement field efficiencies and standardization of methods
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor site personnel
  • Recruit and hire talented craft personnel within budget constraints
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures
  • Resolve employee issues in collaboration with HR Manager
  • Stay current on industry trends and participate in continuing education opportunities
  • Attend site meetings and proactively seek involvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations
  • Review and enhance safety manual policies

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of operational impacts on profitability
  • Ability to interpret engineering plans and demonstrate technical proficiency
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with relationship-building capabilities
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor and indoor field, yard, and shop locations
  • Site-specific hazardous environments
  • Working indoors in an office environment
  • Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary
  • Willingness to work in a highly varying schedule as site conditions dictate
